Frida’s Field is located at 76 Booyong Road, Nashua - 25 minutes inland from central Byron Bay and 10 minutes from the quaint village of Bangalow. Serviced by 2 airports - the Ballina-Byron Gateway Airport is 30 minutes away and the Gold Coast International Airport is a 50 minute drive.
TRANSPORT
The Byron Bay region is a well established wedding destination with numerous transport options available - from luxury Mercedes and double decker busses to beautifully restored kombi vans and dusty pink vintage cars (as well as a range of mainstream options).
The beautiful journey through rolling green hills and lush farmland with breathtaking views of the ocean and Mount Warning are a key part of your wedding festivities - excitement builds as you and your guests journey towards the venue through this luscious environment, which is unlike anywhere else in Australia.
Generally couples organise a local bus company to pick up and drop off guests at central collection points in Byron Bay and Bangalow (your wedding planner will help you with this). From these central spots, guests can either walk (if they are in central Byron or central Bangalow) or take a pre-organised private transfer to their accommodation or wedding after party.

Frida’s Field has an on-site cottage which is included in your venue hire as a space to get ready on the day of your wedding with access from 5am to the start of your reception. If you would like to rent the cottage for the night before and night of your wedding, this is an optional add-on. The Cottage sleeps two and is a quick drive to the main wedding venue.
Couples organise buses to pick up and drop off their guests at central collection points in Byron Bay and Bangalow. So accommodation proximity to these collection points is strongly suggested.

To comply with responsible service of alcohol legislation, the majority of guests must arrive and depart by bus. Car parking is provided for 6 cars which are reserved for the immediate wedding party, elderly or pregnant guests only. An additional 6 car spots are available for suppliers directly involved with the event. Parking for guests with special circumstances can be prearranged with management.
