The Cottage at Frida's Field provides the perfect place to get ready for your big day. Featured on the cover of Country Style Magazine, The Cottage is a recently renovated 1890s coach house, with a stunning cathedral ceiling, rough-hewn exposed beams, and polished floorboards. A magnificent two meter-square northeast-facing window fills the open-planned space with natural light and sweeping countryside views. The space is framed by a spectacular old fig tree.
Exuding rustic charm, it provides a gorgeous backdrop for wedding photos, a secluded spot for a “first view”, or a catch up with key family and friends before the main event. If you would like to add-on a stay the night before and night of your wedding, this is an option (sleeps two).
WEDDING CEREMONY SITES
We offer a selection of stunning ceremony sites for you to choose from, each providing breathtaking views over the fields at golden hour. You can center your ceremony under one of our majestic trees, creating a picturesque and memorable setting or be framed by an expansive view over lush pasture and tree lined hills.
Each site provides a unique and enchanting backdrop for your special day, ensuring your ceremony is as unforgettable as your love story.
COCKTAIL HOUR TERRACE
Frida’s Field offers an expansive lawn terrace with stunning hinterland views - the perfect place to enjoy your wedding cocktail hour with outstanding service from our in-house team and delicious nibbles from our award-wining chef. Relax and take in the beauty of nature as golden light covers the fields and the sun sets over the orchard-lined hills in the distance.
WEDDING PHOTOS
There are photo opportunities aplenty at Frida's Field, with the entire 120 acre property available for you and your wedding photographer to enjoy. There are majestic trees to frame your shots, fields that capture golden hour perfectly, country roads, rustic fences, textural sheds, hinterland vistas, ebony barn doors that make your dress and florals really pop, and a cute cottage that was featured on the cover of Country Style Magazine. Memories of your special day will live on forever with your incredible wedding photos at Frida’s Field.
WEDDING RECEPTION BARN
Our purpose-built timber reception barn offers a grand and elegant space with neutral colours and natural textures - the perfect backdrop for any floral and styling theme you choose for your wedding. Architecturally-designed to bring the stunning hinterland views inside, it has a high vaulted ceiling with exposed wooden trusses (perfect for dramatic hanging installations), a recycled- brick fireplace, and a large covered verandah. Luxurious drapery elevates the space, creating a striking sense of theatre and visual impact. There is ample room to seat 120+ people comfortably and enough room for a spacious dance floor - the perfect space to have the night of your life!
alfresco dining option
For couples who want to feel extra close to nature we offer a beautiful alfresco dining setup, perfect for enjoying meals outdoors amidst the natural beauty of Frida’s Field. Available for an additional setup fee of $800, this option allows you and your guests to soak up the fresh air, stunning views, and relaxed ambiance while dining in style.
wet weather ceremony back up
Frida’s Field offers two convenient wet weather ceremony options to ensure your day goes smoothly, rain or shine. You can move your ceremony to the covered veranda of the reception barn for shelter while still enjoying the farm’s stunning hinterland views, or choose to hire a marquee over the gravel ceremony site on the top terrace.
